Couple of points to note:

1) This team of BPAs (approx 15) are working in a business partnering division (ie. internal consultancy), not IT.

2) BPAs allocated to strategic projects with the intent of implementing a "improved business practice" rather than just the technical solution.

3) Within the section and strategic projects there is emphasis on change management and training.

4) The BPAs use a modelling tool and repository for business process models, etc that is published for the business to use as central source of business process and work instructions.

5) Undertaking in raising competency amongst the BPAs for future certification through IIBA and/or ABAA.
